Over time it is common to acquire items that aren’t the most meaningful or the best quality. I try to go through my belongings now and then to edit and replace everyday items with pieces that are nicer. One item that is not very expensive but that adds beauty to mundane tasks is pretty kitchen towels. It is a simple way to add some color or interest, whether your kitchen is clean or not!
What to look for
Quality fabrics like cotton and linen will help your towels last. For towels that dry hands well, look for waffle textures and terry backing. Tea towels – thinner towels commonly made from linen – are great for drying dishes.
