My husband has heard me complain on more than one occasion that I don’t have any clothes to wear. I would like to think that I have more fashion sense than I did in high school, but sometimes that’s questionable. I used to like clothes shopping, but now I usually just come home frustrated. I don’t know what I like, what looks good, or how to get the right fit. (Or how to find good deals).
I came across this useful article and checklist from Matchbook magazine last year. I’m not a very trendy person, so I like the idea of creating a classic wardrobe. Some items obviously don’t apply to me (I’m really not planning on getting cashmere anytime soon), but the checklist kind of helped me realize that I don’t buy much variety.
Obviously, I would never buy clothes this expensive, but you can find similar items almost anywhere. Anyway, I thought it was a straight-forward resource for those of us who don’t know what to buy (or wear).
